Welcome to Weddings by Maura!

 

We offer officiant services and are committed to ensuring a memorable experience for your special day. These Terms and Conditions govern your use of our services and our website.

1.       Acceptance of Terms. By engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use our services.

2.       Description of Services.  We provide wedding officiant services, including rehearsals, wedding ceremony and vow renewals.

3.       Payment Terms.

·         A deposit of 50% of the total service fee is required to confirm your booking.

·         Final payment is due 10 days prior to the wedding date.

·         Payments can be made via Venmo.

4.       Cancellation Policy

·         Cancellations must be made in writing.

·         If cancellation occurs 31 or more days before the confirmed wedding date, 50% of the deposit will be refunded.

·         If cancellations occurs within 30 days of the confirmed wedding date, the deposit will be forfeited.

5.       Changes to Services. Any changes to the agreed services must be submitted in writing and may be subject to additional charges.

Changes within 6 Months of Original Date

·         You may reschedule within 6 months of the original date without penalty. 

·         You must book your new date within 15 days of notification and confirmation is pending officiant's availability.

·         If the new date is not booked within 15 days, all prepaid fees are forfeited.

Changes More than 6 Months After Original Date

·         To reschedule more than 6 months after the original date requires a $50 rebooking fee.

·         You must book your new date within 15 days of notification and confirmation is pending officiant's availability.

·         If the new date is not booked within 15 days, all prepaid fees are forfeited.

6.       Additional Fees. If the wedding location is more than 100 miles round trip from 78645 zip code a 75 cent per mile charge will be added for incremental mileage. For destination weddings outside the Austin area accommodations and travel arrangements will be discussed and agreed upon on an individual basis.

7.       Limitation of Liability.  Weddings by Maura will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

8.       Intellectual Property. All materials provided by Weddings by Maura, including website content, logos, and branded materials, are the property of Weddings by Maura and cannot be used without permission.

9.       Governing Law. These Terms and Conditions are governed by jurisdiction's law.

10.   Changes to Terms and Conditions. We reserve the right to modify these Terms and Conditions at any time. Your continued use of our services after any changes indicates your acceptance of the new Terms.
